- 授業のねらい
- ディプロマ・ポリシー教育目的:
(1）豊かな人間形成における幅広い教養とコミュニケーション能力を身につけること。
This course provides opportunities for learners to develop and combine English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through tasks and via small research and presentation projects. Students will also learn TOEIC-based vocabulary, grammar and test-taking strategies. - 到達目標
- Students will:
1. engage in conversation tasks in which they produce targeted language functions
2. practice TOEIC-related reading and listening activities
3. learn 252 vocabulary items of the TOEIC Word List (TWL)
3. give a small-group PowerPoint presentation in English (Comparing two places, products, or experiences)
4. write class online forums about specific topics
5. read a total of 30,000 English words using graded reader books

- 進度に合わせ各テキストを授業時間数と同程度で予習．Moodleの設問はダウンロード資料を毎回20分ほどで予習．また復習はいずれも適宜に（週30分～60分）．
- 成績評価の方法・基準
- α.ニールセン 担当分の週３講 (1から4で100%)
1 Group presentation: 10%
2 Graded reading: 30%
3 Lesson-based activities and participation: 50%
4 Listening, speaking, tests: 10%
β.原子 担当分の週３講 (5から6で100%)
5 授業内の課題 50%
6 双方向な授業参加によるテキスト読解，質疑応答など 50%
各講義担当者の評価を合算し，2分した素点［(α+β)÷2］により評定。 - 履修上の留意点
- 予め次の条件で受講生を限定します．英会話Ⅲの履修許可者で， 評価が A 以上です。 履修しなかったとしても，個人で受験した TOEIC Test のスコアが， 450 点以上の 2 年次生であること。 講義担当者は次の 2 名です。ニールセン・ブライアン ( α ) ，原子 智樹 ( β ) 。この条件で履修登録済みの受講生を，任意にＡクラスとＢクラスとに分け，週 6 講を 3 講ずつ 2 日間に分け開講します。週 2 日のうち A クラスは第 1 日に Listening( α ) を，第 2 日に Reading( β ) を，反対に B クラスはその逆順で受講します。
このコースでは、複数のLMSを使用してもらうことがあります。
なお、適切な理由のない10分以上の遅刻は欠席とします。
成績の評価に際しては、全15週のうち、10週以上出席した学生を対象にします。
学生個人所有のPCやスマートフォンを授業中に使用する場合があります(BYOD）。そのため、大学のWIFIに接続できるようにしておくことをお勧めします。 - 課題に対するフィードバックの方法
