授業のねらい
カリキュラム・ポリシー(教育方針/教育目的):
少人数教育とバイリンガル教育の充実
ディプロマ・ポリシー教育目的:
(1)豊かな人間形成における幅広い教養とコミュニケーション能力を身につけること。
(2)国際社会における生活慣習や環境の相違に基づく多様な価値観や世界観の存在を理解し、国際的視野に立つ異文化コミュニケーション能力を身につけること。
This course provides further opportunities for learners to develop their knowledge of western society customs and culture through a series of English lectures, songs and videos. Opportunities are also provided to develop students’ English communication ability via English role-plays and group discussion tasks.
到達目標
Students will:
1. engage in role-play tasks in which they produce targeted language phrases.
2. practice note-taking while listening to songs and lectures in English.
3. discuss intercultural topic based questions with partners in English.
4. write 3-paragraph online discussion posts in English containing information about various topics covered in the course.

(1) (Preparation) Work on the tasks presented in each class. (60 mins).
(2) (Review) Read lecture notes taken during each class. You will be tested on information in your lecture notes at the end of the semester. (30 mins).

Online discussion posts: 40%
End-of-term exam: 20%
Classwork and participation: 40%
三分の二以上の出席率が必要。
